The email read: “Welcome to OnlyFans! You are almost ready to start interacting with other users. Please confirm your email address by clicking on the link below.
OnlyFans has not fixed the issue yet, but recipients are advised not to click on the link as it is most likely spam.

OnlyFans is a content subscription service but has made a name for itself as an adult content subscription service. Love or hate the sex industry anyway, this platform has streamlined the creation of ethical porn, as well as given the world a bit of gossip with every new celebrity sign-up.
The service has been in and out of the tabloids since its inception, most recently when the company threatened content creators to no longer allow explicit content on the website.
Don’t worry, it exploded after a week or so when the company realized they would NOT do well if they followed this rule.
Now it looks like on Christmas Day several people received a confirmation email to complete their profile registration.
It worried a few people, especially the more notable ones, worried that between the deep fakes and data theft, someone might be out there trying to steal their identity. Moles and everything.
This is not the first time that OnlyFans has encountered a computer problem like this. Last year, people received spam asking them to send their login details.
OnlyFans tweeted: “Please beware of any email claiming to be from an official OnlyFans source. We will only send an email from a @OnlyFans.com email domain and we’ll never ask you for your password. If you receive any suspicious emails like the one below, please do not respond but report them to us.
It is surely a similar problem this time. Otherwise, if everyone ends up with an OnlyFans account, the whole world could come a lot closer together.
