Manage all aspects of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Control of Unsolicited Pornography and Assault Marketing Act (CANSPAM) portfolios.

Detailed job description:

Responsible for managing the strategic and tactical aspects of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Control of Pornography Assault and Unsolicited Marketing Act (CANSPAM) assigned product portfolios to meet the needs of Enterprise Consumer Rights Support (ECRS).

As part of Truist’s data transformation initiative, the ECRS team works to ensure compliance with best practices, regulatory and policy requirements related to how Truist handles the personal data of customers, consumers and employees, as well as to ensure clear and accurate communication about how and why Truist uses and shares personal data. This includes data privacy and ethics regulations, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Graham-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CAN-SPAM.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Plan, promote, manage and coordinate the activities of the assigned product portfolio and ensure synergy with related product line managers to achieve objectives.
  • Manage product line direction through continuous assessment of current products and position.
  • Systematically develop and evaluate opportunities for new products and/or line extensions; identify new target markets and associated strategies.
  • Support the development of new products and/or line extensions, as required, in accordance with pre-established product development processes.
  • Manage the development, execution and maintenance of the product business value and product family business plan that provides current market information, including cost savings and avoided costs, actuals and projections to date, key market position, competitive strategies, vendor pricing and plans product life cycle and evolution.
  • Encourage continuous process improvement by developing ways to assess and maximize opportunities for change.
  • Participate in the prioritization of feature and/or capability development for the product line.
  • Adhere to and follow all applicable policies and procedures; proactively bring issues and risks to the attention of senior management.
