The Biden administration on Wednesday launched a new “one-stop-shop” COVID website for vaccines, tests, treatments, masks and the latest coronavirus information.
The government’s official online destination aims to “help everyone in the United States have even better access to lifesaving tools”, according to a White House press release.
To visit COVID.gov to access a new Test-to-Treat locator, highlighting more than 2,000 pharmacies and community health centers across the country, especially in the “hardest hit and high-risk communities”, where people can get tested and receive treatment if necessary.
Early last year, the administration launched vaccines.gov to help people locate and book vaccination appointments; in January, it released COVIDtests.gov to order free test kits. Now all of this and more is available on the new COVID.gov website.
“The bottom line: Americans will no longer have to scour the Internet for vaccines, treatments, tests, or masks,” President Biden said. said during a briefing on Wednesday“Everything is here. [J]go visit COVID.gov.”
Following the recent release of President Biden’s National COVID-19 Preparedness Plan, the administration called on the legislature to provide additional funding, including $22.5 billion in immediate emergency funds.

“To date, Congress has failed to provide these funds and the country is already suffering the consequences,” the presidential office said. “Protecting the American people from COVID-19 now and in the future relies on affordable and accessible tools like high-quality vaccines, treatments, tests, and masks,” he continued. “Now we need Congress to do its part and continue to fund the response to COVID-19.”
In his own plea to government, Biden, who received his second booster shot at the press briefing, summoned “every ounce of American resilience.”[We’ve] pulled all the levers of our government; appeals to the kindness, decency, and patriotism of the American people; and together we transformed unthinkable pain into extraordinary progress and purpose. Americans are starting to live their lives again. We can’t give up on that now.”
